wilton pattern press sets

I have a slight obsession with press sets. I really believe that making a beautiful cakes shouldn't cause you any trouble at all. Thank goodness that wilton answers all the unserved needs of bakers all over the globe.
My pattern press set had been helping me deliver wonderful cakes to friends and family.
Plug: Thank you Ate Michelle for giving me wonderful baking gifts. I love you.

Decorator Favorites Pattern Press Set. Includes: fleur de lis; double heart; medallion; open heart; closed scroll; heart; large, medium, and small C-scrolls; crest; double scroll

I like easy-to-use materials. This isn't like those products from home TV shopping where in the demo was so perfect but when you tried using it all by yourself, the product itself it isn't as effective as you hope it would be.
What a waste.

Moving on,

It's really easy to use, i swear to God this pattern press set is very efficient and effective. All you really need to do is:
1. Crumb coat your cake. After crumb coating let it rest in the fridge for about an hour or so.
2. Frost your cake with buttercream.

NOTE: PATTERN PRESS SETS ARE FOR BUTTERCREAM CAKES. IM NOT SURE IF IT WOULD WORK WITH FONDANT SINCE FONDANT AND BUTTERCREAM DONT REALLY GO WELL TOGETER.

3. Once your contented with your frosting you can start pressing this patterns onto your cake. This will serve as an outline for you to fill with buttercream or chocolate.

4. try to play with different icing tips to give texture to your cake and patterns.

5. Most of all, HAVE FUN.

Cake on,

Dina
